[R]Battlenet Life
It has been a thrilling weekend to say the least. 4 draft matches in 2 days. All of them involved iR4 and Scn.
1st match summary
We lost the 1st match against them. Reason of lost of because of having inexperienced players in our team. Sans was no doubt responsible for our lost but i aint angry with him. I had already forseen this result. I told ice zai that having sans in the team would be very risky because he had never been in any draft match. Initially i refused to use sans in the match but i was persuaded to let him in. So the bottomline is, i should have trusted my own judgement and not be affected by others. Therefore we deserved to lose this match.
2nd match summary
This was the 2nd lost. It was because of two reason that caused our lost. The 1st and major one is nubo's failure. As a shaman, he had totally let all of us down. Despite his feeding, he has a slow reaction, causing the whole gang-ing plan a failure. He was rather arrogant when i asked him which hero he knows how to use well before the draft, his reply was any hero. It is sort of crazy to reply that... In draft match, you have to choose a hero whom you mastered. Never mind about the hero's skill, his item build was a failure too. I couldn't believe when he bought a desolator instead of a dagger of escape... Fancy a rhasta buying deso in draft matches?? You wanna let others know that iR4 shaman is such a failure? Please... Anyways, i stripped off his shaman post for the second time, providing the reason, "underperformance". 2nd reason that we lost was due to the cowardly backdoor strategy put up by them. Even though we were greatly owned in the front, we managed to turn the tables behind. Just when we are about to fully turn the tables, we lost due to the backdoor-ing... This was when our respect for them was totally nil.
3rd match summary
This match was a freaking intense and fierce match over a period of 100++ mins. It was totally crazy when both team puts up their very best. My faceless void is finally back in action. Nigel's Qop, Ice Zai's Lich and Mok's Shadow fiend. The last 1 was mok's NS fren who was using POTM.
We could have pushed n win the match easily, but we chose to use backdoor as a payback for the past match. It was rather fun seeing all of them speechless after the match. They couldn't complain for the dirty tactic because it was legal.
4th match summary
This match turned into a 4v5 handicap match during mid-game. It was another 100mins match. This match was sort of easy compared to the past ones. Probably because we have learnt how to overcome their strategy? We found out that they would always have few typical heroes and get BKB early. We editted our Area of Effect strategy to some kind of battle builds. Our 5th player was someone i never thought i would team with in such matches, my arch enemy, Wei Qiang. He is downright unrefined. If not for the need of 1 last player, i would never ask him for help. As we can see, he has very limited vocabulary. He keep using the word, "F*ck". I tolerated his nonsense. He claimed to be a highly skilled professional. By mid game, he ended up with a pathetic score of 2-9. We could no longer stand his "noobness"anymore, therefore we requested the "CK", custom kicker to be used on him. I rather do this match in 4v5 old school handicap fashion than to have such a low class self proclaimed professional in our team. Due to his foul mouth, i am afraid that we cannot clear the misunderstanding between us and Scn.
Basically, Ice Zai, Nigel and i played all the matches, the other differences was the last 2 players. 1st match: Sans and Hector(C2)
2nd match: Mok and Nubo
3rd match: Mok and his NS friend
4th match: Jin Fei and the low class self proclaimed professional, Wei Qiang
The only match that i got rather emotional was the 2nd one. The whole team was so perfect, but who knows...
